The Week Started Innocently Enough
Don't mind us, just making a curry roux on a Thursday night. And yes, the week starts on Thursday.

And it's where the curry roux went, along with carmelized onions, squash, potatoes, broccoli, and yakisoba noodles.

Lunch is Served
This is kind of a riff on Larb Gai, using sauteed chicken breast instead of the ground stuff, and a sweet soy dressing with coriander. Those are some pickled beets on top of micro-greens for the side.

Dave's feeling a little fancy himself and dressed up these veggie burgers to remind himself that he could still feel.

So, 'filet mignon' means 'cute cut of meat.' This one was served with 'chanterelle mushrooms,' a phrase that means 'chanterelle mushrooms.'
